Great spot for a late night workout
About Planet Fitness
Planet Fitness is a gym chain with over 2,400 locations, offering a unique concept and a variety of equipment at an affordable price. The Athens location stands out for its exceptional customer service, with employees who are warm, generous, and attentive to members' needs. However, some locations may not live up to the company's "no intimidation" claim, with rules and alarms that can be perceived as judgmental and intimidating to serious fitness enthusiasts. Additionally, some members have reported maintenance issues with equipment and facilities, including dirty bathrooms and broken machines, which can be frustrating. Despite these inconsistencies, Planet Fitness remains a popular choice for those seeking a welcoming and affordable fitness environment.
Reviews
Friendly and helpful staff.
After waiting a long time to have a trainer, I was so happy when Bethany joined. She was an excellent trainer, and I really enjoyed her classes. Unfortunately, after only a few months, management decided to discontinue classes and training. It is very disappointing to finally have this support and then lose it so soon. For members like me, having a good trainer makes a real difference. Bethany deserves recognition for her great work.
