Metz petz is a great vet; I searched all over Kenton, Marion, and Lima looking for someone my dog would bond with, and we found it with Nathan at Metz petz. They actually listen to everything I had to say and helped me understand what was really going on with her, and was so kind with her boundaries. They was also by far the most affordable out of the others.

My standard poodle caught his too long nail (my fault), and it became infected. I took him to Metz (the only vet we’ll go to), and they gave him pain pills and antibiotics. It got better, then worse. This was in February. I took him back in a few weeks later, and was told no medicine this time, but to soak his foot in epsom salts once a day. It helped, but didn’t solve the problem entirely.Months of the back and forth with medicine, etc, resulted in the removal of his toe. During this time we’d tried everything as a deterrent, but he was able to lick the wound. I was concerned about how much it would cost.
