I called these guys over the holiday weekend and they had a team at my house within two hours. When I first spoke with them they said 30 mins. Only reason for the 4 star review. We were able to leave and still go on our holiday to the hamptons. Thank you tons. I really can't imagine these guys having bad reviews.
I had several quotes for mold removal in my basement. Not only was this pricing more competitive than the others, the amount of work they said they were going to do was more than the others. They were on time every day, worked as quietly as possible, and were professional, and respectful in my home. The rooms they had to clean the mold in look completely brand new, better than they had when they started. I leased a 7,000 Square Foot Townhouse in the UES of Manhattan at great expense, moved 750-800 boxes and furnishings into it and could never unpack! I couldn't wake up! After 2.5 months, I discovered mold in the basement bathroom on the floor of the shower. It was decided by several doctors that I was suffering extreme chronic fatigue from Airborne Toxic Black Mold exposure. I had constant headaches, bursting blood vessels in my eyes, terrible headaches, my whole body ached, I had short-term memory loss, my lungs ached, I wheezed and coughed constantly, etc., etc. It took me 2.5 months to identify the problem. I eventually found a sewerage back-up on the basement level that was covered with mold. Subsequently, it was determined that the sewer line was clogged, many, many places in the TH were infected with Airborne Toxic Black Mold due to long-term leaks EVERYWHERE throughout the property! The Owners/Landlord/Broker ALL attempted to hide the odor of the mold by placing over 100+ envelopes of heavily scented powder (sachets) throughout the Townhouse. I called ASAP Restoration late at night. I was horrified and scared. Abe, the Owner, rushed over the following morning to access the situation. He wanted to come the very next day to start remediating the mold. The owners refused to authorize and pay for his work. I ended up vacating the property as quickly as I could and wearing a respirator while at the property. Abe was very supportive throughout the ordeal advising me every step of the way. I knew he had my best interests at heart. When I was ready to move, Abe sent over his people to decontaminate every box - close to 800 of them! - and all of the furniture so that I didn't take the mold spores with me to my new home. I don't know who I would have trusted if not Abe. He's terrific as is his staff and office personnel. Everyone at ASAP Restoration is honest, trustworthy, hardworking and very personable. I highly recommend this company!
