About Acupuncture Works
Acupuncture Works is a welcoming and professional clinic that offers acupuncture treatments for various health issues. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making patients feel comfortable and cared for. Many clients have experienced significant relief from pain and discomfort after just a few treatments. For example, someone with four herniated discs in the neck found that acupuncture helped finally get rid of their severe pain, thanks to the attentive care of Dr. Jean. Others have noted that a single session can provide relief that lasts for weeks, such as easing pain for two weeks after just one treatment. The clinic also has a relaxing ambiance, which helps patients feel calm during their visits. Some clients travel from out of town and appreciate the quick scheduling and helpfulness of the practitioners, especially when they are in town for medical treatment. The practitioners, including Dr. Andrea Schilling, are experienced in holistic medicine, often using methods like tongue analysis and very thin needles to target sinus issues, detox, and energy restoration. Patients report feeling relaxed and less stressed after treatments, though some recognize that more regular visits may be needed for lasting benefits. Overall, Acupuncture Works provides effective, caring, and holistic acupuncture services in a soothing environment.
I can't recommend Acupuncture Works enough! I have 4 herniated discs in my neck, and dealt with severe pain for months. After seeing a chiropractor regularly and trying any other method I could find, I decided to try acupuncture - I am so glad I did. Dr. Jean is a lifesaver. I firmly believe this is what finally got rid of my neck pain. Dr. Jean is attentive, empathetic, and she took the time to really listen to my situation before explaining how acupuncture will work to address it. The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I love coming here.
This place has a wonderful, relaxing ambiance. The accupunturist was so helpful and got me in on very short notice while I was in town for medical treatment. Traveling for care is so stressful and she made a huge difference for me. I hope I can return!
Does Acupuncture work? Well I may need more than 1 appointment to make that decision . I can tell you about was my first acupuncture experience at this facility . I went to see Dr. Andrea Schilling, as I was curious about the process and I was hoping to relieve some of the sinus issues I have been experiencing. I was greeted and did about a 10 minute question and answer session before we started with the needles. She looked at my tongue (I guess you can tell a lot from the way it looks) and bumps on it told her I was fatigued . She used about 20 very thin needles on various parts of my body connected to my sinus issues and vital areas to help detox and restore energy . These needles didn't really hurt at all since they were so thin, at most a brief sting if the area was irritated . I then laid on the table for about 20 minutes to relax and allow the acupuncture to do its work . Afterwards, I felt really mellow and like some stress was relieved , but I think for the process to make a real difference , you need to go more regularly. It is something I would consider , but at $76 (with insurance ) for follow up appointments , I will have to make sure I'm in a place financially to fork over that much money . With that being said, I would trust Dr. Schilling and Acupuncture works with their craft when it comes to holistic medicine .
