Right in the middle of experiencing a hair crisis I found out my normal stylist left town and closed up shop. I decided to search local stylist on Tik Tok and came across Phillip. He seemed awesome and cool and talented . Today I drove over an hour to have him cut my hair and I was not disappointed. My hair looks fabulous and you can tell he truly knows how to execute precision hair cuts. But that is not even the best part. Found Static after a thorough salon vetting process. Conveniently located on main stretch of downtown White Plains (in between the old Sam Ash and Walters). Salon itself is very clean, open layout, modern feel. Astrid at the front desk is super kind and helpful from initially making the appointment via email to in person engagement. Margaret took care of my hair and did an excellent job. Was my first cut in about 2 to 3 years so was pretty nervous on every level. Margaret was perfect from the cut itself to the socializing/chair side manner. Highly recommend Static. Pricing was super fair as well
I've been going to Marina at Static in White Plains for some time now and I have been meaning to write this review since day one. The salon itself is a beautiful, bright and airy loft with a wonderful vibe in the center of White Plains. Everyone is just so professional and friendly - from Astrid, who keeps the front desk running like a well oiled machine, to Krystal and Kaitlyn, who provide wonderful shampoos and head massages. Marina is just wonderful. Each visit is a learning experience , she is so, so knowledgeable and so generous with that knowledge.
She truly listens to what I'd like done and not only delivers on the haircut, but knocks it out of the ballpark....read full review
