This is going to be long, but necessary. I have been searching high and low for a stylist who could work with my daughter's 4c curls. Everyone in the area claimed to have experience with curls but sadly, they damaged my daughter's hair. They also required me to straighten my daughter's hair BEFORE even going to the salon, robbing her of the salon experience. From the moment we walked into Yolanda's salon, she made us feel like we were at her home, drinking coffee with a friend. She and her assistant were so inviting and the conversation was if we had known each other for years. Yolanda shared each step of the process and great tips on maintaining the style for my teen daughter. She also gave her some great advice that that only another adult could give a teen. Yolanda is genuine, honest, talented, and warm, and went out of her way to make my daughter feel special and have an experience she has NEVER had in a salon before. My daughter was literally in tears of joy when she saw the end product. No reason to search elsewhere or travel. Dye me crazy is where it's at!!
