I have been going there for years. I discovered them through local flavor when I was looking for a place to take my niece horseback riding and when it was time for my son to take lessons I knew that was the place that I wanted to take him. Helen the owner is caring and always made my son feels welcome. That he looks forward to his lessons would be an understatement. I have referred several people to the farm because I know that every visit is one to remember. I cannot recommend this place enough

We did the cow experience off of Groupon and ended up meeting not just the cows, but pretty much all the types of animals at the Rescue. Helen was very nice and knew almost all the stories of the animals and had fun facts for each. People leaving bad reviews need to realize these are living things that don’t exist for you to bottle feed at your whim. The employees and volunteers seemed friendly and would do whatever they can to make sure you have a good experience. We even left with some raw honey. They have a good mission and I recommend you support it.

Such and awesome spot. Once you get done with the tour you are able to just hang out and roam the grounds to enjoy the animals they have. My kinds really enjoyed being able to get up close and personal with them.
