The girl at the front desk is very ghetto and unprofessional. The facial she gave me made my whole face break out and she is very money hungry and disrespectful to her other co workers. The girls that work there need to grow up and storm storming from room to room always being mad at someone. I felt like i was at someone's house rather a profeasional spa.

my name is Jennifer Francis I've been going to Jencare for years and was always disappointed with the customer service but absolutely love their facial well I must say God has surely blessed me with a kind loving and great skin care specialist today I was amazed she was the best but unfortunately she belongs to the Florida branch hoping to see her again in New York

I've waited a year to write this review in the hope that it would get better - regrettably it has not. I remember JenCare in its heyday - beautiful spot, run by our own people, offering first class service. My sister frequented for manicures and pedicures and swore they were the best. Fast forward to 2017 and after encountering some challenges at another facility i.e. technicians who were always late, crappy service etc, - decided to give JenCare a try. Was not impressed walking into the facility as it was not the "spa setting" I remembered. That said, I looked past the walls that needed painting and the general lack of serenity one experiences entering a spa like environment and focused on the service - I was not disappointed. Walked away that day with one of the best facials and my feet feeling like a million dollars. My issue with JenCare is not the service, their technicians know what they are doing. Juxtapose that with 1. a facility that does not have a full time receptionist - techs are constantly leaving clients to handle phone calls, check out other clients, provide consultations or answer questions to walk ins. 2. lack of knowledge among all technicians on how to handle the front desk - it seems that only one person truly knows how to operate the system and the others don't seem interested in learning - a full time receptionist would take care of that. 3. minimal equipment - one of my friends and I usually make concurrent appointments; we both have acrylic manicures and every single time, we have to end up waiting on each other for the UV light to cure the set, as the facility only has one. Very often, techs are borrowing equipment, tools, and even polish (such as bonders, gel primers) from each other as there is one 1 bottle in house. 4. extended wait times that are often the result of double and triple bookings as not everyone knows how the system operates. My final "beef" has to do with the lack of product/s this facility chronically has. My first four facials were fantastic - everyone commented on how great my face looked and the difference they were seeing. Can I tell you how many times, I have returned to restock - B1330 or Acne Care and they are not available? The icing on the cake was the change in the Acne Care formula! The product went from this thick cream to a liquid like substance that is not giving me the same outcomes the original did. So recently I started the process of weening myself of of the products as it is just downright frustrating not getting the results needed and constantly being told that I have to order it from Florida. My pedicures are harder to ween myself off of, as I really have yet to find anyone in Queens that can provide this level of care on your feet. To the owners of JenCare - you have the potential to have a great spa here, but it keeps missing the mark. Either your are in this business or you are not.... Sigh!
