About Angel Tips Nail Spa
Angel Tips Nail Spa is a clean and friendly nail salon that has garnered mixed reviews from its customers. Many clients appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. Some have followed their favorite technicians to this location, highlighting the skills of specific nail techs like Helen, who is noted for her great service with SNS (dip powder) nails. However, there are concerns regarding the quality of certain services. While some customers report satisfactory results with basic manicures and pedicures, others feel that the salon does not deliver well when it comes to more complex requests like acrylic or French manicures. Clients have expressed frustration with upselling tactics, such as additional charges for services that they feel should be included, which has affected their overall satisfaction. While the salon maintains cleanliness and follows Covid protocols, issues like rushed services and inconsistency in nail care have been noted. Some customers have experienced chipping of polish shortly after application, raising questions about the quality of products used. Overall, while Angel Tips Nail Spa has a loyal customer base, there are significant areas for improvement to ensure a consistently positive experience for all clients.
I come hear because they never turn me away. Their pedicure is eh and manicure is ok. When I ask for acrylic I get offered powder when I ask for powder I get offered gel. When I ask for pink and white acrylic, I get acrylic and offered gel on top for the french look. I asked for pink and white because I've seen the skill involved in doing a French acrylic manicure and it looks really nice and lasts for weeks and the tech doing mine told me no that it's gel on top and i kept asking her acrylic pink and white throughout her doing my nails, thought maybe she had a different method but no, so you dont know how to do it just say that and I'll do something else. You go in there asking for one thing and they spend the entire time trying to up sale you, $10 for callous removing $10 for 10 minutes massage. I wanted a regular pedi and a pink and white took 2 hours and I began the minute I arrived and paid $93 for a regular pedi with callous remover and acrylic with regular nail polish cause I'm sensitive to the UV light. For regular things they're good but if you wanna get fancy its a hit or miss and the average spend would be about $70+
On a regular visit, I would give this salon a 5, but based on my experience today I am forced to give a 3 (it should be a 2). I have been coming here for over 2 years consistently and have been getting SNS (dip powder). Helen has been the Nail technician that I have been going to every time I get my nails done. She is great and I am very pleased with her service. I tried the hot UV gel a few times and I did not want to expose my hands to the UV every 2 to 3 weeks any longer. I told Linda, the manager, that I no longer wanted the UV gel and wanted to go back to using the SNS. She told me that the gel is better and I should keep using it. I told her I understood and that...read full review
I wish they would provide better service. I got a get predicate. If they would actually take a little more time before applying the polish to the nails, I'd give a higher rating. They didn't really take the time to shape my nails or tend to my cuticles. The polish was done well. And 1 week later, no chipping. Still looks pretty fresh.
