The New York Milk Bank

The New York Milk Bank is the first comprehensive nonprofit milk bank based within New York State. We are dedicated to improving the health and survival of infants in need. We are able to do this by providing them with safely pasteurized donor human milk when their mothers’ own milk is unavailable or insufficient. The milk we collect comes from carefully screened donors. Our priority is making sure all women are supported in their breastfeeding goals and to educate all families on the importance of human milk. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety, quality, and affordability of donor milk, as well as seeking insurance reimbursement for babies in need.
