Did some work for me and it went well. Then, he promised to do some more work for me and disappeared. No response to repeated phone calls and messages. Very strange. If you're looking for reliability, look elsewhere.

Got a heat pump installed by Dan's Heating & Cooling in 2020. There were several problems with the requested WiFi control of the unit but that was eventually solved. I gave Dan an extra $150 for his efforts to solve the originally quoted WiFi control of the unit. Late in 2022 I asked for service of the unit and Dan's responses varied from can't do at all to lets wait till 2023. Recently he has been completely nonresponsive. Bad sign that Dan won't service his installs!Service: Heating system installation

I have to start off by saying Dans heating are some of the friendliest people around. I didn't give 5 stars due to an issue I had. The issue is that YOU HAVE to verify what they are going to charge you for showing up before they come out. Obviously you won't know the parts and labor up front but just to show up their seemed to be some hidden charges. I called first thing in the morning and they said they had an opening and would be out late morning. Never was I told that this was considered an after hours/emergency call. It was a weekday at 9 am. They came out and like I said they were extremely friendly. They were here about 45 minutes and were done. When I received the bill in the mail it showed that I was charged their normal $120 for an hour of work then an extra $60 for a half hour of travel time?? And finally another $60 fee for same day service. ($240 just to come by). I called to verify this and in fact they said oh they should of told you when you called that we charge for travel time and same day service. I just wish they were upfront with those costs when I called to schedule an appointment. I in no way was in an emergency situation. I would use them again if I needed but I definitely will go over all the costs for them to show up.
