Today was my first visit here. I was a little nervous at 1st, but it didn't take long before I was engaged in conversation with the stylist while I waited a few minutes for Violet to do my hair. I showed her a picture of the look I was going for and she worked her magic! I was very pleased, and loved the cut. Going to a new place can sometime turn out to be a traumatic experience. This was not! It was very pleasant, I listened to some old school Glady Knight, that was playing on pandora, had some good laughs with Violet, she is a beautiful as the "African Violet" Flower. I’m new to the neighborhood and needed my hair done…I am grateful to The Beauty Shop for squeezing me into their busy schedule on a Friday.I received a wash, deep conditioner (25 minutes under the dryer) and a blow dry…my hair was then placed into a bun.No relaxerNo bleachingNo color rinseNo flat ironNo trimNo rod setNo roller setI was Charged $70I glanced around for a price list (mandatory by law) that should be up for clients - no price list posted.I was Charged $70 for a wash, deep conditioner (under the dryer for 25 minutes), blow dryer and hair placed into a bun.The staff and beautician that serviced me are very friendly and welcoming.Just a little too pricey...read full review

I understand that we’re in a pandemic, however the salon didn’t update their website accordingly…I found them via google and the website stated the hours and that appointments are for Sunday and Tuesday, other scheduled days and hours are noted. But it doesn’t state no walk-in allowed.Wednesday morning, i was greeted at the door with the warmest smile (under her mask LOL) but turned away because I didn’t have an appointment.Please update the website, it’s kind of misleadingThree stars given because the young lady was very polite and friendly…I’ll try again with an appointment because the young lady was very polite.
