This place is wonderful. The person upfront is extremely warm and very helpful. They really work with you to find the best fit. The doctor did a great job. I appreciated the high tech instruments that weren't at my old doctors office as they were more comfortable to use.
The office is clean and everyone who works here is super nice and friendly. (It seems that the closer you get to Trumansburg, the classier people become.) Not only does TrumansburgOpt take my insurance but they helped me navigate my ridiculous insurance company. Gotta love 'em for that!!. I also like that they have equipment that basically makes eye dialation unecessary. I would definitely recommend this place.
My entire family has been patients of TO since we moved to Trumansburg. Dr. Neil, Karen, and Izzie are exactly what a hometown family owned business should be; friendly, knowledgeable, caring, experts in their field with up to date technology, and the added bonus of knowing everyone by name. Kind of like “Cheers,” Besides the typical professional care during routine eye exam visits, their “extras” (but perhaps not for them), put them in the “above and beyond” category.
