Effie did my highlights and gave me a quick trim. So glad I found this spot! Great experience! Hidden gem for sure! I’ve been to every salon in the area, they’re all fluff!! He was quick too! Love how my hair came out, thank you Effy!

I have been a customer of Effie for almost a year now. I was referred by my esthetician who also left a more trendy salon. I was looking for a change. I was sick of getting ripped off, and so I left one of the big known salons in Syosset because the prices and credit card fees were outrageous.Effie at Great Hands Hair is the owner and operator. He is a professonal stylist & excels at color! I typically get a monthly touchup and highlights (I have untamed blond curly hair). My sisters and I have been going here for the last 6 months and love it. Effie is always accommodating and flexible when making an appointment. You are in and out VERY quick with great service. I’ve gone to some of the most high end, expensive salons on Long Island and have gotten an even better result here. Definitely a hidden gem!
