I had recently tried to do a ombré/balayage on my self and it wasn't too bad but I wanted to go to the salon and kind of get it touched up maybe make the blonde more gradual/natural looking (picture w heart) and the lady seemed unsure at first on what I was talking about and then said she'd figured it out and it'd be great.... And it wasn't. She dyed my whole head a weird blonde but left the roots and I had horizontal lines on certain parts of my hair. It was awful. You could tell she knew it looked bad and told me if I didn't like it to just come back and get highlights. I cried the whole way home because of how terrible I looked. Waste of money and time.

I decided I wanted to get my hair done for a wedding I was attending at Turning Stone. I called 12+ places within a 40 minute drive of Turning Stone a month before the wedding and Tropical Escape Salon was the only place with an appointment!They squeezed me in first thing at 9am and it was a less than 10 minute drive from Turning Stone. I couldn’t be happier with the results! The atmosphere was so chill and laid back, the price I paid for my updo was very reasonable and Kendra did an amazing job with my (on the thinner side) hair!If I’m in the area again for a special event I will be returning!!
