Gotta love these Steinbeck novel reviews all scheming for some kind of gratuitous kickback. I have played the course 4 times now and in fairness no one in the pro shop has been anything less than accommodating. The front 9 is a wonderful mix of rolling hills, elevated tees, water hazards and diverse layouts. Plush fairways lead to tricky greens. Holes 10 and 18 are gorgeous but the interior holes 11-17 haven't matured yet as per the renovation process. For this reason they are not charging Westchester money. The food is delicious the service was outstanding we met the owners Joan and Toni whom made us feel very welcomed. They have Spanish food I had the Mofongitos wow they were good. The waiter Tim was very pleasant and courteous. We even met the Pro who came to meet us and tell us everything about the golf course.
Opening day after being closed 4 years was surprisingly a really good experience. Course in grest shape for a grand opening, a little higher 18 hole w/cart fee but what hasn't gone up? Going back this Sunday, try it , I would recommend it ...tell Andrew you heard it from George!
