Unless you need a specialty staircase, this outfit will screw up your scheduling and delay the progress of your job. They make appointments and cancel in the morning. If you think to take the day off to watch the work, don't bother. They make it impossible to coordinate. Great craftsmanship but a nightmare to coordinate trades. Little consideration shown for the progress of YOUR job. Too overbooked.
We bought a house whose main staircase was open on one side and needed a banister installed. It was a pretty weird setup, with a crawlspace between the floors to get around and a partial banister at the top. The owner, Gene, came by and took measurements, said no sweat about the eccentric curve that'd be needed for the rail at the top to get around the crawlspace, and gave us what felt like a fair estimate. He told me it'd be about five weeks before the woodwork was finished, and right around that time after the deposit was paid, it was ready for installation. The crew did the job and cleaned up well.
