Love Dr. Polak. Both my daughter, who has white coat syndrome, and myself think she's the best. She takes her time and has excellent follow up. Her office is what going to the doctor's "use" to be like - not some franchised big name conglomerate. Front staff is friendly and the follow-up is excellent. Dr. Polak called me personally with some test results. Bonus - when you call the office, you don't get 15 prompts you speak to a live person. 24 hours
Dr. Polak is an incredible physician with a truly special bedside manner. She goes out of her way to see patients when they are sick and takes the time to make sure she's giving an accurate diagnosis. Her service to the Sag Harbor community is truly appreciated.
This is a place that cares about people and the community. I drove 40 min to find the place “exceptionally” closed. This would usually be mentioned in google except no one bothered to take whatever steps could be taken . But worse a note on the window says to go to the ER. People who go to urgent care don’t want to go to the ER. That’s the premise. They could tell you the closest open urgent care. But no they want you to deal with it and figure out in a zone where your cell reception is real bad. I won’t be going back for sure. These people don’t deserve your business.
