I love this place. I moved to Rye about 7 years ago and I needed a barbershop. I was lucky enough to find this barbershop in the middle of WASPville, USA. What more can you ask for? Old Italian MEN who know how to cut hair, ‘50’s music coming out of their stereo and it’s reasonably priced. Being in Central Barbershop, you almost forget you’re surrounded by uppity people and you feel like you’re among family.Service: Haircut

I've been going to Central Barber Shop for a very long time. I live in Connecticut but gladly make the trip to New York for a haircut. Frankie cuts my hair and I have never been disappointed. There are two Barbers named Frank at this shop, by the way. Both are very good at what they do. I would highly recommend this Barber shop to anyone.

Very prepared for the reopening since covid. They have plastic barriers between chairs, everyone is wearing masks, they use disposable aprons, everthing is clean, felt comfortable having my haircut by Sal, been going to him for years.
