I enjoyed my massage. Was surprised they were open on December 25, my good luck!
The environment is basic, curtains between massage areas. Great price and the massage included the hot stones and walking on my back. Worth a 20% tip. Satisfied customer.
I have been a regular at this spot since wayyy pre-covid and it was always pretty good, especially for the price! Went there for a couples massage a few months back and it was just, eh with masseurs I didn't recognize. Went back again more recently and my massage was AWFUL!!! This lady was really sneezing and trying to stifle her cough the whole time I asked if she was ok she said 'allergy'! But the massage was so weak even though I need deep tissue and told her that as well. It was weak because she was clearly sick and didn't have the strength! I said something to the owner as well and he said the same thing, 'just allergies!"Completely blame myself for the cold I caught from her that had me so sick I was knocked on my butt for three days because I should've known better. My boyfriend's massage was good at least. But I will never go back here again since thinking about it now gives me super ick.
I come to New City Sky pretty frequently and have for the last five years. The staff is fairly friendly and the masseuse's are all very good at deep tissue massage (a must for me personally). The main detractor of the business is the cheap rooms and massage tables (they use a toilet paper piece to cover the head rest) and the fact that you can easily hear anything happening on the street, detracting majorly from the ambiance. Overall, the pricing is pretty affordable ($50 for one hour) and they do accommodate with hot stones and walking on your back if requested.
