Red Hook Barbershop offers great cuts at fair prices with quick service. The friendly barbers exceed expectations, listening to customers' requests and delivering high-quality results. With a team of 5-6 stylists, including those skilled with straight blade shaving, this walk-in only barbershop is highly recommended and a great value, with haircuts starting at $20.
Had a little bit of trouble finding the place and went in knowing nothing about it. Was very pleasantly surprised. All of the barbers seemed very nice and friendly, and I got the best buzz cut I've ever had. Instead of one pass with a #2 comb I got a very professional cut using about 4 different combs and three different clippers, followed by careful scizzors work around the ears, and the razer trim of the edges. Will go back any time I am in the area. Super place, super people.
I had OSCAR and he was just great. My usual barber is too far away right now and I needed something close. He exceeded my expectations. Since I was so use to one person cutting my hair for many years I was very nervous but he did a wonderful job, just the way I like it. I have straight/grey hair that is not very thick and he knew just what to do.
This is a fantastic local barber shop. These guys are friendly, serious about their work and meticulous. When you see fathers taking their sons in, both of them getting their hair cut and both of them leaving happy, that's a very good sign.
