I called Yancy's on one of the hottest days of the summer when our central air failed. We received a quick call back from a technician named Rick explaining he would come at the end of the day. I knew they were most likely swamped and didn't really think much of it when it was past 6:00 PM. To my surprise I received a call back from Rick around 8:30 PM. He apologized and came right over. It was dark but he had a light and obviously the part we needed because he was done in less than an hour. What a nice surprise these days to have such great service! I highly recommend this company.
Rick replaced our old furnace with a Navien Combi unit. He was very professional and knowledgeable about our options. His price was very fair and he had it installed in a reasonable amount of time. The system works great! A few weeks later, the hot water tank in my mothers house, leaked all over the cellar. Her furnace was also very old so I called Rick. Despite the fact that his family was due to go on vacation very shortly, the day before they left, he spent 12 hours installing the same unit at this house just so we would have hot water. We loved working with Rick. He completed a very large heating and air project for our home in the Adirondacks. He installed several heat pumps, mini splits, a furnace and an AC handler. He did it with professionalism and despite facing a few unexpected challenges worked hard with us to stay within the initial estimate he provided. We interviewed several other AC companies and they all sent out their sales guys to oversell us for more than we needed. Rick was honest and straightforward. We highly recommend this company.
