I HIGHLY recommend this salon. The very nice female owner who, shame of me i have forgotten the name of, did a fantastic job doing the hair of a 1st time customer. They will do what most places won't anymore, PERMS! And they know how to as well. I brought in some photos to help her know what I wanted and she did it PERFECTLY without flaw. Anytime I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror I smile so hard! So many people have asked if i'm naturally curly, LOVE!

I've never been a fan of my hair. Growing up I always had short hair, and I hated getting it cut because it always looked like someone put a bowl on my head and cut around it; not the most flattering look even at 8 years old. I just recently moved to the area, and after a week I decided that I was overdue to get my ears lowered, so I started searching for a place to go. I came across New Wave on Yelp and decided to give them a try. Excited to get a fresh new look I plotted their address (via google) into my GPS and headed out, only to arrive at a Dunkin' Donuts... Uh oh! I had previously called to ask if they took walk-ins (which they do) so I had the number in my phone and gave them a ring. It turns out they've moved a little ways down the road and they gave me perfect directions to get to their new studio. When I arrived I was surprised at how great the place looked on the inside! I haven't been to too many salons but this place is beautiful, well kept, and very inviting to be at! The people are all very friendly, and a joy to be around. They have a good stock of Redken hair products which they use and sell, but they don't try to push you into buying something you won't want or need. I was talking with my stylist about different products for styling and she explained what I would need to achieve what I wanted, and was very knowledgeable about the products. I HIGHLY recommend the New Wave Hair Studio to anyone looking for a new look! I can honestly say that this is one of few, if not the first haircut that I've walked out of the salon really loving! So stop by and be sure to tell them Justin DiPierro sent you!
