“Kitchen Renovation: (22 October 2023) We met with Debbie Valentine, Kitchen & Bath Department and Thomas A. Smith, President at the Port Jervis, two times (before renovation), to exchange ideas before she visited our home to see if they would really work. We finally decided on LG Quartz for the counter tops & island and a stainless steel, single bowl, under-mounted sink. A new backsplash with contrasting color grout. All the templates & fabrication was done by using a high tech laser measuring, (which Debbie visited a number of other times ) to make us at ease during the process. We also had our existing base cabinets half shelves removed and installed wood dovetailed rollout shelves/under mounted full extension guides. Thomas was present while the sink was removed and followed-up on the day when the countertops and sink/faucet were installed and reconnected the dishwasher. They supplied all the materials. removed and disposed of all construction materials and cleaned up. Each of them always kept in contact with me and or my wife during the entire renovation process either in person or phone. We have already discussed having our master bathroom renovated.
