It was my first time at the office located in Port Jefferson. The waiting room was pretty full, but the waiting time was minimal. I found them to be very efficient. I was especially pleased with my provider, Dr. Anzhelika Vaccaro. She took the time to fully explain the results of my examination and didn’t rush me out of the exam room , despite the fact that she probably had quite a few patients after me. The only negative was when I got home and looked over my prescription for reading glasses, it did not include the pupillary distance that is required to make the glasses. Always professional yet friendly. This visit was not as streamlined as usual because they had had a couple of call-ins. But they let people know as soon as they came in that there would be a wait, not something that happens at all doctors offices. Everything still was accomplished in a reasonable timeframe. Now in to the surgery, which I anticipate will be done in the same efficient manner I have come to expect.
I have had caterac surgery preformed by Dr.Anzhelika Vaccaro yesterday. Along with her confidence and positivity I made the right decision to step up to get the surgery done. At first I was very squeamish about the thought of it and I was very skiptical about it all. Wondering if I'd ever be able to see clear again. I've had my reservations. I went through with it because cateracs don't go away on their own, they'll only get worse. They were effecting my vision.
