Wonderful guy who's kind even to strangers walking in. Doesn't like to charge for very small jobs (I force money on him, wanting to see him remain in business). Very flexible and resourceful; willing to take on any sort of crafty/leathery job not shoe-related. He's a one man shop, and he's intense when doing his work, so you usually have to wait for him to acknowledge you, much less get up and walk to the counter. This to me is a positive, not a negative. This cobbler blows me away every time. He can fix anything, and he charges far below what he could. The shop isn't fancy, you can expect to get your shoes back in a plastic grocery bag, and the owner's demeanor is business-like...but who cares?? He has saved so many of my shoes over the years (heels, flats, wedges, Uggs, etc.) and he will be honest if he can't. I live in the city and bring all of my shoes to him when I visit my family in Pville because it is great value plus peace of mind.

Stopped in yesterday to have an expensive backpack repaired as one of the seams came apart. They fixed my bag in less than an hour and the cost was less than half of what I thought they would charge. The service was great. I would certainly use this store again.
