I was in town for a wedding and came across Bona Fide Curly in my search for a curly hair salon. Leah is a great stylist and super kind as well. We talked about what my normal hair routine is and she gave me her professional guidance on products and styling techniques. She cut my hair dry and then styled it in a way that I would be able to mimic at home. Best hair experience ever - and all in one hour! I got so many compliments on my hair at the wedding.

It’s taken me a week to write this because every single day I wake up more amazed at how good my hair looks and how effortlessly it performs. I have thick, coarse, beachy-wave hair that’s usually a mess when unstyled. But now? I can literally brush it, skip the products, and go. It still looks incredible.

Lois told me my hair would perform, and she was absolutely right. I’ve spent hundreds (probably more) on styling products and tools —and I don’t need them anymore. This is, hands down, the best haircut of my life. It feels like I got a top-tier NYC haircut right here in Rochester. (spoiler alert - Lois just moved here from NYC so I did!).
