“Can not recommend them enough. I’ve had 3 urgent runs to Nunda. The first was to put an old hound down and they diagnosed what had been missed in a full year of multiple vet visits elsewhere and really helped me feel comfortable finally saying goodbye to an old friend. They also sent a card signed by their staff, a lovely poem and a paw print keepsake. I met them once, and they were so caring, supportive and comforting. The next was a random cat vet visit for an abscess while my regular vet was closed. Got me right in, drained and injected with long term antibiotics. Which was fantastic because we were leaving for vacation THAT DAY and I didn’t have to stress the sitter with trying to give meds to a cat! (Pets are awesome) The third time was yesterday and today, when my tripod Mali was having an issue I thought was lameness. While we were there he continued to decline and had bloody stools (which the staff happily cleaned and we even had a good laugh. Dr. Emo immediately recognized what it was and what was needed, took the time to answer all my questions and share similar experiences. He had had an episode like this 4 years ago and after multiple vet visits, and a trip to Orchard Park (where they wanted to keep him overnight for 3k) we didn’t have any answers for root cause or what to do moving forward, just a bunch of meds and sent on our way. Dr. Emo recognized it early and got him the care he needed, as well as a diagnosis and a plan moving forward. I spent 2 hours there working with them, and in all that time the staff greeted every pet enthusiastically like we all talk to our own pets. (You can hear them through the walls lol) All pricing was very reasonable especially compared to round one of this, searching for answers. Any questions I had about pricing were promptly answered with an itemized run through. Staff is very friendly and I can’t say enough about the quality of care, reassurance, compassion and communication they provide. I also can’t say enough about how they recognized the breed for what he is and worked with his multiple other needs given that he is a rescue with some things we are still working through, and that he is a tripod that has additional special needs. He got everything he needed and I wasn’t worried about his care at all. Really can’t say enough great things about them. Thank you for all that you do!“
