We were visiting the area when our dog unexpectedly died. I called Pet Street Station and was able to immediately take our dog in for cremation. This occurred on a Friday and we were leaving the area on Monday. The staff was able to cremate and return the ashes to us on Monday. Throughout, the staff was empathetic and responsive. Afterwards, they sent us a lovely note of sympathy even though we don’t live in the area. Kindness matters.
I'm not a fan of letting anybody take my dog out of the room or away from me when I visit the vet. They didn't really make accommodations for me for this time. They're fairly good with my animals but as I said I am not a fan of having my animals taken out of the room from me. Everyone is kind and helpful and they do try to accommodate. Hopefully it will not happen again since they now know my preference.
Our dog Brew stays at the kennel when we travel. It tends to be less expensive than what the hotels charge for a pet to stay and we know he is safe. He gets his baths and nail trims done by Lori, the groomer. The vet techs and assistants are all great and are always happy to see Brew. He gets so excited when he arrives at Pet Street for whatever service he is there for. We have not yet met Dr. Borden but both Dr. Sautter and Dr. Cavaliere have cared for our dogs over the years and we trust both of them to provide the best care!
