After moving out to Long Island, I kept going back to queens to get my hair done by our long time family friend. It started to get harder to drive over on Fridays with work and traffic. My girlfriend recommended Malorie and seeing how beautiful her hair was always cut and highlighted, I didn't hesitate to make an appointment. Malorie is wonderful and so kind. She really understands my hair, and my issues. I felt comfortable opening up about my trouble areas and she's always understanding and patient with me. Most of all she's honest, flexible and supportive of my crazy ideas. Malorie is truly amazing!
I've had a few friends see Carlton to get their hair done, and I had off this week from school so I decided to go. Mind you, it's been a year since my last haircut so I was LOOOOONNNNNG overdue. It's been quite a year, 2017, and I wanted to go out with a bang. Out with the old, in with the bold - and a haircut is a great way to shake out all those bad vibes. When I sat in his chair, he asked what I wanted to do, and I was like - I want a side undercut. Yeah, I'm coming to you to shave my head. Not the whole head, mind you, just some. ;) And we agreed to keep the length long, with a slight layer to it. He did an AMAZING job. I'm totally obsessed with the undercut and it's something I've thought about getting for some time now. I knew I could trust him to see my "vision". And I also learned that my Aunt A. comes to him as well! I also got a clear glaze to lock in some shine for my dull winter hair and it really made my hair so silky and glorious. I seriously feel like a rockstar with my new look, and I feel ready to take on 2018. Carlton is kind and friendly, and a master of his craft. I would recommend him 1,000 percent.
Could not be happier with friendly service. Danielle made me feel at ease when I called to make my appointment. Jessica made me feel at home, and did a fantastic balayage and great cut. The other employees were also warm and welcoming -- even though I wasn't even their client! Highly recommended. See before (1st pic) and after!
