Best Nail Salons In North Babylon

“I got my nails done at JC Color Nails some time ago but my original review had disappeared.

I got a gel French manicure on my natural nails and I think they did a very good job. The clear natural base looked great. I also got a pedicure and the technician was great. The manicure lasted over two weeks.

My only complaint was feeling rushed. I called and made an appointment and stated what services I wanted. I told them I was on my way, and would be there in 20 minutes, which was about an hour and a half before closing. I think I spoke to the male owner. When I got there I was told by the female owner, they wouldn't have time to do my nails, it was too late. I asked her "...then why was I told to come in, because I specifically stated what I was getting done on the phone...?". I reiterated what I was having done and told her I would just leave after my pedicure. She conceded to do my nails when she realized I was just getting gel on natural nails; but I shouldn't have had to go through that, when I called ahead, and arrived when I said I would. I could accept that position if I were a walk in.

I had a pleasant experience with her after that and like I said my nails come out nice, but the person answering the phone and booking should communicate better with the individuals performing services, especially if they're the owners. Your failure to communicate shouldn't put me in an uncomfortable position.

Overall, I would go again because they did a good job.“

We didn't have an appointment and just walked in (we needed to kill some time) this is the nicest nail salon I have ever been to and I've been to a few! It was so clean, they were so nice and welcoming and it is such a relaxing atmosphere! We will definitely be back, even if it's a 1/2hr drive for us!!!“
