We've had a series of plumbing issues in our old house, including a collapsed sewer pipe, a cracked main stack, and clogged downspouts. Each time, Toby Mersinger from HW Bryk & Sons has come to the rescue. Toby takes pride in his work - he explains clearly what the issue is and how he is going to resolve it. He is patient with his work - he never forces anything. We were told a decade ago that our front downspout was clogged beyond clearing - we would have to dig up the downspout and replace it which would cost a few thousand dollars to replace. I have called on them twice to solve my plumbing issues.
First time was for an apparent upstairs bathroom leak and to clear out a clog in a basement floor drain/trap. Wasn't able to determine if there was a leak but the technician did a great job of clearing out the blockage upstream of the floor drain/trap. Now the trap works as intended and doesn't flood the basement bathroom floor. The technician answered the questions I had and cleaned up the bathroom floor.
Second time was to fix the upstairs toilet leak. The technician quickly identified the problem and was able to rectify the issue with the old flange and disintegrated rubber seal. Again, the technician...read full review
Bryk & Sons replaced our old tankless water heater with a new Rinnai unit, and the difference has been tremendous. The new system has been much more reliable, especially during the winter months. We no longer have to deal with the issues we experienced with the old unit, including clogged intake screens.
