This location has an abundance of beauty options and is very clean and organized. The staff was so amazing, with ladies assisting customers, all smiles and lots of information about the products. One employee did a skincare demo and sold customers on the products. Customers left happy after buying an eyeshadow palate, lip gloss, lip balm, and a light foundation. The Burberry Her fragrance also smells awesome. While Ulta Beauty offers a variety of beauty options, customers note inconsistency regarding beauty services like facials. They suggest promoting services more, as it is not just a makeup store, and wish for consistency with facial services. Customers have also had beautiful results from hair coloring, with one stylist being patient and a great hair stylist, leading to scheduled appointments for touch-ups.
5 stars isn’t enough for the customer service I received at the Ulta 34th st location. Went in to purchase an item, left purchasing 5 items. That was due to the impeccable customer service of Zada & Taniea! Was previously assisted by another person, Zada saw that I wasn’t pleased with the service - inquired to what I was looking for, walked me around the store, introduced me to new products, gave suggestions, then shared her favorite products. She then Introduced me to another colleague; Taniea whose knowledge and customer service was just as exemplary! Best service on 34th!!!
This store tends to have long lines every time I visit. Offering tap-to-pay or mobile checkout options on the sales floor would greatly reduce wait times and better accommodate customers who prefer a faster checkout experience.
On a positive note, Ashley assisted me with finding nail glue, and her customer service truly stood out. After I initially settled on a product I didn’t really want, I noticed that she continued searching for the item I originally asked for, even while I was already waiting in line. I visited Ulta Beauty in New York with mu teenage daughter and we had a really positive experience. The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, with a wide range of makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance brands. The staff were approachable and helpful without being pushy, and they gave good recommendations based on what I was looking for. Checkout was smooth and fairly quick, even with other customers in the store. Overall, a great place to shop for beauty products, and we would definitely visit again.
