However, the salon's website is dated and hard for making appointments, and it could benefit from a modern renovation.
Alan Tosler has been cutting my hair since the last century (😉) and has taken me from my late 20's to today with incredible style and outstanding service. His salon is 100% what you'd expect of a high-end professional shop, but without the snark or superficiality. The entire staff are pros, and down-to-earth, delightful people to boot. A relaxed environment, high atop Fifth Avenue in trendy Chelsea, I can guarantee that whether for cut or color, this will be the last salon you'll ever visit. They are the BEST!
I just got my hair cut and colored at Tosler Davis and it was exactly as I expected it--top notch! My girl Jermina Nicole James NEVER disappoints. She is an amazing stylist. I show her a pic and she does what I ask. Always w a smile:) LOVE her! I have been going to her for many years. For that matter, I have been going to Tosler Davis on and off now for 15 years. I went to Sonia for color. Great job! My first time w her. She listened took good care of me. As far as COVID, everything was beyond clean. They also took my temp when I entered--loved that. The salon has always been one of my favorites in NYC. The people are beyond amazing--warm, accommodating, super cool vibe, and stylists and colorists that know what they're doing--top notch.
