My sister is extremely pleased with the services received by Christopher Arnold and Adalberto Padilla. They each showed enormous patience in helping her decide her RMD and more. I sat in on both calls and I'm very impressed with their professionalism. They each get a "10" from us!
My husband is in the process of retiring and has most of his retirement savings with TIAA. We have told the "financial advisor" repeatedly that we want a fixed annuity. Period. Thus, far he has refused to give us the monthly amount a fixed annuity would yield. We are being bullied into re-investing in high risk options so we can make monthly withdrawals from the portfolio. I've explained to the little snot that a stock market crash such as 2008 would wipe us out. He was so condescending and remarked, "I guess I can see your point." This is NOT the TIAA that my father-in-law enjoyed. Shame on you TIAA!

We are retired now and decided to withdraw the accumulated annual interest. Early in January 2024 we asked for the 2023 interest to be transferred to our checking account that is assigned with our TIAA accounts. They said sure. HOWEVER, we needed to fill out the correct paperwork for this withdrawal/transfer to occur. I asked for an email attachment to make this quick. NOTE: the email they use is ALWAYS a “do not respond to this...read full review
