Whenever I am around Astor Place, this has been my go-to for getting my eyebrows threaded. They're almost always empty and they're so quick - I get my eyebrows done in what feels like 5 minutes! Plus the threading is done in a way that is virtually painless - it feels more like pressure being placed around the brows versus pain per se. However, I do wish there would be more of an arch to the eyebrows whenever I would get them done. Also something to keep in mind: while people can pay with credit card, there is a $1 fee placed if you want to tip on the credit card!

Fast, inexpensive and always cheerful! The staff here are friendly, courteous, and skilled at threading. There are no appointments necessary and walk-ins are seen straight away with little to no wait. Meena did a fantastic job helping me achieve a clean, balanced and beautiful look with my brows that's very complimentary to my face shape. She always asks if there is anything else I will be needing today and my brows are treated to a gentle massage with aloe cream on cotton pads. If you can spare a New York minute, I suggest giving Thread a go to meet all your threading needs.

The staff here is always courteous and super efficient. I like that I can easily walk in and be seen in less than a minute and then walk out five minutes later with beautiful eyebrows. The service is unlike any other and there's also a rewards card you get signed each time you visit. Highly recommend this place for it's cleanliness and skill. Also, the price is very affordable. A go-to threading salon!
