These guys are the best. I take all of my uniforms into them to get altered and they come back perfect each time. Staff is friendly and prices are good. Try them out and see what I mean. Hurry though. I hear they are closing in a few months. Super awful!!!!
I was looking for a place to get my pants hemmed and my friend suggested this one and I am so glad I went.
It was supposed to be a one time visit to drop off a couple pairs of pants but I was so pleased with the outcome that when I got home Immediately started going through my closet to see what else needed tailoring.
This is now my new favorite spot for all my tailoring needs.
The service is exceptional and the turn around time is fast.
Every time I go I am so pleased!
I've been to The Tailoring Room twice, both times for pretty simple alterations: the first time to shorten a shirt, and second time to take in the waist on a pair of pants. I don't remember the exact price for shortening the shirt, but the second job was $35, and I remember first job being roughly similarly priced. This is expensive, but I was very impressed with the quality and the attention to detail on the alterations. I truly couldn't tell that either piece had been altered: the pants looked identical to when I brought them in, and the shirt was expertly hemmed, even all the way down to the new side vent that they put on the shirt. I recommend this place for high-quality alterations that respect the details of your garments - it'll cost you, but you can trust that they'll do a good job. Some other notes: - They're cash-only, and there's no ATM on site - They have three changing rooms (really just repurposed closets) - They do not work with leather, velvet or gowns
