I had a wedding guest dress that was way too long but I only had 3 days before the wedding trip. Rahman and his team not only did an incredible job but also did it in <48h, even though they have lots of customers! The pricing was reasonable and the dress turned out perfect. I’ll be back. Highly recommend!
Rahman uncle is the absolute BEST! I bring him literally all of my Indian outfits for alterations and he never misses. Lehengas, salwars, saris, dresses/western wear, everything. He just knows what to do without you having to over-explain, and the work always comes out perfect. He’s even fixed botched alterations by other tailors that I never thought could be fixed. I don’t trust anyone else with my clothes and honestly never will. If you need someone who actually cares about getting it right, go to Rahman uncle.
Rahman and his son were incredible! I had a short turn around court wedding with a dress that was very complicated to fix - he put so much time and effort into fixing something that another tailor said was not possible. They are both very smart and experienced at their art form. They gave me multiple options on different strategies they could use to fix the dress until we landed on the right one. He was also very kind, reasonably priced, and communicative. Will continue going to them for all my tailoring needs! This tailor is a true NYC gem!
