Tati Unisex is a welcoming salon that accommodates walk-ins and offers great hair services at reasonable prices. Despite a potentially loud and crowded environment, clients leave happy with their hairstyles. The skilled hairdressers provide excellent results, making it a popular spot for regular customers who highly recommend the salon.
Bad hair day? Need hair TLC? Event or date night ? No worries. I was recommended to visit Taty Unisex salon and I'm so glad i did! I'm a natural curly fro head of thick long hair. So i stopped by Taty Unisex salon to inquire a stylist who can handle my thick hair with minimal heat and gentle detangling. Ms. Taty the owner was so welcoming and directed me to her stylist Ms. Ruth for consultation. Ms. Ruth took care of me immediately! She's very kind, gentle and took any small directions i gave her during my Wash/silk press treatment. She gently sectioned my hair to detangle then blow dry. A trim was needed, Ms Ruth took photo to show me the amount before/after cutting damaged ends until my satisfaction. Then carefully flat iron pressed my hair without multiple passes. I was in and out of the salon in about an hour and a half. The atmosphere is comfortable home family style environment, like the old school salons. There's also Male, all gender grooming haircuts wash braids. Also child friendly. There's several stylists there for your specific needs. You can bring your own hair products if you wish. Cash, Card is accepted and card doesn't charge a fee :) You can tip in cash or card. They accept walk ins but you can also call. **Pricing isn't given over the phone as the Length of your hair is considered in determining a price. Enjoy!
I have been going here for years for my blowouts and even trims. Nothing compares to a blowout in a Dominican salon. Taty is great and the salon always has maintained affordable prices. They have many return customers. I began going there in my teens and it is always the same homey feeling environment.
I walked in without an appointment and was able to get my hair done right away. My hair came out great, and the hairdresser was great. The only two things I would say is she did not flat iron my hair, and she did not let the conditioner stay in my hair. She washed it out right away. She charged a great price.
