I don't like to give away my favorite places, but I have been going to Taiji Body Work for many, many years. I started at the East Village location (which has since closed) to this one. I had the best experience here. I had actually called the other location on 102nd street and they weren't that friendly. I had asked them about a offer posted and they quickly directed me to the 72nd street location and hung up. As I was on my way I got caught in a downpour. I was soaked from head to toe. When I walked in the spa. They gave me a towel to dry off with and they even offered to dry my clothes while I got my massage. The guy who did my massage was great. Before I left them brought me my clothes completely dry and warm. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely come back.
Well, definitely trust the reviews when it comes to bedside manner. I felt really rushed and the workers were really loud. The massages are good and pretty affordable especially for 75 mins for less than $100 but I didn't feel relaxed.
