Wow. What a terrible company. My Google domain was automatically transferred over to Squarespace a couple of years ago. I needed to update my credit card information to pay my yearly domain fees. I’ve been a week going back and forth with them on chat and email. No phone support is available apparently. I’m simply trying to pay them money for a service and they won’t accept my money. What a joke of a company.
The user interface and website-building tools are extremely easy to use, though they can be quite clunky and unpredictable at times. Not much of the site is definite, and the comparison between the desktop version of your site and the mobile version is disappointing. There are also many basic functions that have been overlooked, requiring you to use coding as a solution.
Additionally, they closed my store (though not my entire website) and removed my ability to sell products before I even made one sale. I was preparing to sell my own music for $14. They did not give me a reason and explicitly refused to give me a reason, saying it was an internal decision.

I have been extremely disappointed with the experience of trying to restore my business email after it went down. Email is essential to running a business, yet the online guidance has been confusing and difficult to navigate, with no straightforward explanation of what needs to be done to get service restored.
The most frustrating part has been the lack of accessible customer support. I have spent significant time searching for answers and attempting to resolve the issue online, but the process feels like a complete bottleneck. It is unclear where to turn for timely, knowledgeable assistance when a business-critical service is not functioning.
