great and friendly environment, everyone i interacted with was very friendly. click was very nice and did my piercing. talked me through everything and helped me think of new places to pierce. will definitely be going back there for more piercings
Went in on July 5th to get my nipple piercing done with Click. He was absolutely so sweet and helpful throughout the entire time. The place was very professional and clean and the workers there were very kind. Will absolutely go back to work with Click again.Service: Piercings
I just had the pleasure of spending my afternoon with the staff at Soho Ink. I had originally booked an appointment at Uplift Tattoo and upon arriving to the shop, was told by the receptionist that the artist I'd booked had taken another customer and wouldn't be done for another 2 hours. They said they were just about to call me-but it was 1:57pm and my appointment was at 2pm. This was not okay in my book as it was completely unprofessional as I'd booked this appointment and to not even call me to tell me until I got there? Come on Uplift, you need to do better. Or even just the bare minimum of being courteous and respectful of peoples time and you need better business practices. And undoubtedly they'll keep my $55 deposite despite them being the ones who totally messed up I still wanted to get this done today, and knew of Soho Ink as I've passed by there on numerous occasions. I know they've been around for a while and have a great reputation so decided to walk over to see if they happened to have any openings, but kept my expectations low as it was a walk in. When I arrived, I was greeted and treated so incredibly well, I had to write a review. My entire experience was phenomenal and can't recommend this place enough. Starting with Mimi at the front desk, who was able to find me a last minute appointment and who was nice and likable instantly, to Click who did my cartilage piercing, to Pon, from the reality show Ink Master, who did my tattoo-as well as the other various staff, treated me like an old friend. They were so accommodating, friendly, welcoming, encouraging and listened to what I was looking for. I wish every business I patronize worked this way. I have been wanting to cover up an ugly small tattoo on my right hip that I impulsively got in college, for some time, but it wasn't until today that I finally decided to finally do it. It was truly serendipitous that I was able to be serviced by Click, Pon and all the lovely staff members. Click explained all the options for earrings, metals, gems, etc and fitted my piercing perfectly. It didn't even hurt when he put the needle in. All the while we talked about this and that and he put me at ease. Pon was awesome and I didn't know he was on Ink Master, so was pleasantly surprised that I could be inked by a well known and super talented guy. He listened to me, asked me questions, and came up with a design I was very happy with. We talked about everything under the sun as he did his work, and my expectations were surpasses tenfold. I was also so blown away by the prices. At Uplift they were charging $350 for a simple outline of a small flower, and I paid slightly more than that for a medium size piece that's colored and beautiful. I would have paid at least three times that amount so the price points are remarkable-. But keep in mind I'm not a tattoo person who knows anything about tattoos-I'm just going by the comparison between Soho Ink and the other place. The Point is--do yourself a favor and visit them. I did this because I wanted to feel better and finally get rid of this trashy tattoo and have a good day. And this was one of the best days I've had in years. Thank you so much to everyone at Soho Ink for making my day and week and probably month! I'll definitely be back before they sadly close in November. Without a doubt, 10 stars!! You won't regret it.
