An absolute pleasure! My wife and I were referred to David Shum through a work colleague and it was the best experience we could have hoped for. David was incredible and very communicative along the way in terms of what information he needed in order to maximize our tax return. I would recommend David to anyone without hesitation as he clearly knows his stuff and makes the entire process painless and incredibly easy. Was looking for a good accountant to do my taxes. I wouldn't say my situation is super complex, but I have a large investment portfolio that's distributed among a few accounts. I also worked abroad and had some issues with double taxation between two countries. Randomly found Shum & Associates on Yelp and decided to give them a try because of the few positive reviews and their proximity to my office. Overall it was a great experience. I called them first and spoke to David who asked me a few questions and asked me to drop by the office. I brought last years tax returns and a list of all my accounts.
