This cobbler is the real deal! He's old school: excellent work, honest, very reasonably priced & efficient. I went to many other places that tried to rip me off before I found this place which my friend recommended. Now he's my go-to repair guy in NYC.

Had some time to kill in the neighborhood and needed a small repair on my wallet. They were able to do it on the spot- was early morning. Fair price, will definitely go back for shoe repair.

I love this guy! I bought a pair of Cordovan monk straps from Carmina a few months back. Upon my first few wears I got caught in some rain which left awful welts on my shoes (common for shell Cordovan). I took them to "Elite shoe repair" or whatever their name is over on 54th between 2nd and 3rd. That guy absolutely wrecked my shoes even worse. Didn't remove the welting and just polished over the stains which did nothing. Long story short, I brought my welted Cordovan shoes to this gentleman at Shoe Repair and Shine and he saved them!
