Courtney has not only repaired my hair but also educated me about my 4A hair type. As my stylist, she has helped my hair grow from above my shoulders to past shoulders , which is no small feat for a woman in her 40s. She has styled my hair beautifully and directed me to products that promote growth and repair. When you leave her shop, you feel confident and knowledgeable about maintaining healthy, textured hair. I highly recommend Courtney to anyone with natural hair or those dealing with hair damage; she will help restore your hair to health.
I’m in the process of transitioning my hair from relaxed to natural. My hair has been over processed and I wanted to get it healthy again. Courtney at the UES location is the only person I trust to see me through this process. Courtney is an expert at all hair textures (which is hard to find in this area) and she’s focused on the overall health of your hair. She’s educated me on proper hair care during my transition and helped me regain my confidence. Best place to get a curly perm in NYC! I am so happy i did my perm with this salon. Don was absolutely amazing. She is very passionate and extremely talented. She understood exactly what kind of curls I wanted and she was extremely focused and paid attention to every detail while doing my hair. The perming process was not rushed and Don was did everything in a timely manner. I would highly recommend getting ur hair service with Don. You won't be disappointed.
