I've been going to Salon 66(formerly on 72nd St.) for over 25 years. Haydee, the owner, is the only person who has been able to tame my wild hair. Her salon is immaculate and the vibe is welcoming and low-key. Her prices are posted as you enter the shop and I've never overheard any complaints. While my wife goes to another Salon. she finds Salon 66 prices equal to or a little less than others in the area.

Being new to NYC, I was very apprehensive about trusting anyone with my hair. I know prices are higher here and I understand that, but I wanted to LIKE what I paid for. I decided to try Salon 66 because it was close to where I live. I was very pleased with the service that was rendered there. Haydee was friendly; but most of all, listened to what I wanted. I needed a cut and highlights. I was very pleased with the outcome. I will definitely return!
