I was very happy with the outcome of my hair. This time my hair issue was that it was thin on top but thick and voluminous at the ends—and quite unruly—creating an unbalanced look where the top appeared flat while the bottom felt heavy; plus, the gray hair at my temples was quite noticeable. After assessing my hair, Ricky was really thoughtful and designed a shoulder-length style for me: he trimmed the hair on top to create a fuller, denser look and added rich layering throughout. He also incorporated Ashy Brown highlights, giving the hair a striking, three-dimensional quality that looks truly dazzling in the light. The final result looks amazing!

I always trust that Ricky knows what he is doing and what’s best for you..I’m a women in my 50’s and just wanna make my grey hairs look a bit less boring. After some exchanged ideas..he had my hair feel like upside down ( in a terrific way) :-) and he caressed my hair like no body does throughout my session! He is also a guy who is humble and gentle. He treats his co-workers with care and respect.

Ricky Ren is the absolute best at dying hair in NYC!! He knows how to take thick dark Arabian/asian hair to a lighter color with barely any damage. He dyed my hair deep blue twice now and it definitely will not be the last time. He’s very cooperative and skilled. I don’t trust anyone else with my hair.
