The massage was okay — mostly focused on my back and legs. They asked for a surprise $5 extra fee when I arrived, which wasn’t mentioned before. Also, they were very pushy about tips, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Not exactly relaxing 😏
The service at the Renew Spa was very good. Only one person could speak English. The others we had to translate over the phone. The building looks a little like a hole in the wall but it was fine after I saw we were across the street from an upscale rooftop bar 👀. After my session, I left a tip of $10 but they wanted me to leave more and almost wouldn't let me leave Lol. I ended up leaving $20, wow talking about pressure 😵💫! I was very pleased after the service. BODY WAS FEELING GOOD, ENERGIZED, AND READY TO HIT NYC. Good place for a massage.
