We got a 1 hour couple’s massage here today, and really recommend the spot. Both the staff were very skilled and friendly.
They could figure out the spots that needed attention and would personalize the massage by adding treatments as they see fit (ex: hot stones or cupping). Come here for an effective massage to address underlying causes of pain, rather than for a relaxing time.
I discovered Okuyama Massage & Bodywork during my last NY visit. My feet were tired from walking around all day in unforgiving boots and I desperately wanted a foot massage. A quick Google search directed me to Okuyama which was oh-so-conveniently across the street from my hotel. I rang the doorbell, got buzzed in and received the foot massage from Mei. I prefer a deep tissue/heavy pressure massage, so her pressure was absolutely perfect (I’m sure she could calibrate to a lighter touch for those who prefer that!). I enjoyed the foot massage so much that i went back a second time during my visit.

I love this place! Everyone is so unbelievably kind and talented. No frills, clean, and very affordable. I usually see Mai or Jason. A neighborhood staple. So glad I found this place!
