Ofir and his team saved my life. I brought my laptop on a trip and it suddenly died and never turned on. I went to an Apple partner for a diagnostic (which they charged a lot), and quoted me an insane price because my laptop needed a new motherboard. Not only was the diagnostic cheaper with Ofir, his team was able to fix my laptop for a great price. I am super appreciative. Support small businesses :)
Came here in September 2021 for laptop repair after the hinges broke and the screen wouldn't turn on. They explained that the part I needed was no longer in production, but gave me alternatives to save my files. They recommended buying an external drive down the street for cheap, and offered to back up my data for me overnight. Came back the next day with everything from my old laptop backed up. Good folks here with good communication.
This is my second review of My Computer Tech (the other on a different review site 2 years ago and also 5 stars) and the fifth time I've used their service. This time it was to replace a malfunctioning router. Sounds simple -- just unplug the cables from the old router and insert them into the new router. It's not that simple. I contacted My Computer Tech yesterday evening, made an appointment for today, bought a new router at Staples this AM, and had it installed by My Computer Tech by 2 PM. Service and expertise were top notch, and they are great to work with at a very fair price. Highly recommended without reservation!
